[vc_row row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” text_align=”left” box_shadow_on_row=”no”][vc_column][vc_column_text]Christmas is coming and with it the 3rd Santa Claus Solidarity Row; an event that fills us with enthusiasm every year and encourages us to follow the Christmas spirit by raising funds to help Els Amics de l’Hospital del Mar in one of their projects.
This year the money that we raise will go to the “Curar con una sonrisa” (Cure with a smile) project, which goes to the youngest children, to all the girls and boys who use the ambulatory paediatric units, and to the hospitalization and their families. The Pallapupas are the clowns that visit the little ones to bring them happiness and smiles in order to make their stay in hospital more bearable and so that they have a better quality of life during their stay. You will find more information in the following link: http://www.amicsdelhospitaldelmar.org/projectes/1/curar-amb-el-somriure
As usual, we will do our popular row dressed as Santa Claus, with a very easy course that is suitable for all levels: there and back from the Sant Miquel beach to the Somorrostro beach (in front of Hospital del Mar) where we will greet all the hospital patients and recuperate energy by having a delicious hot chocolate before starting the return journey.
The plan is as follows:
- 9:20 We will meet in our centre for inscriptions and distribution of costumes
- 10:00 the row begins
- 10:20 arrival at the Somorrostro beach, greetings and refreshments
- 11:00 the row ends
Contribution (50% goes to the project)
- €20/person – includes: 1h of material + services + costume (€10 if your are a MEMBERSHIP or STORAGE client)
- €15/person – includes: services + costume (you must bring your own board, paddle and wetsuit)
